It Been So Long

Assalam..dah lama betul tak update blog ni.. Banyak yang dah berlaku. 

Yang menggembirakan kan dan yang menyedihkan. The best thing is I have a grandson now..1 yr + umur nya.  He is a blessing from our creator. Alhamdulillah.  Tapi jarang dapat berjumpa dengan dia, sebab dia tinggal jauh dan anak saya pun jarang nak balik rumah.. Tu amat menyedihkan. 

The other thing that makes me very happy is, actually dua benda ya. One, my youngest daughter will complete her studies this end of May, syukur alhamdulillah... The other is my eldest daughter will be getting married early next year. January to be precise..insayAllah.  I hope everything goes well for the both of them.  

To my youngest, you bring me sunlight and a big smile on my face everytime i see you.  All the best in your coming finals.  And to my eldest, i am so glad that you have found your other half.  Alhamdulillah. So dalam masa beberapa bulan ni saya akan sibuk dengan persiapan perkahwinan yang semakin hampir.  Harap semuanya berjalan smoothly.  

I will update again soon when I have the time... Cheerio...

Dah lama tak update blog ni.. been busy. My hubby was not well the last 2 weeks. after him my youngest daughter pula had a bout of severe food poisoning. Oh well now everybody's ok. Last Sunday 25th april was my eldest daughter's birthday. Didn't prepare anything special , just some tomato rice and a few simple dishes. My daughter is the quietest among my kids. And a bit reserved in character. Maybe due to that she is still single to this day. But she is a very loving and caring girl. I always tell my husband that the man she marries will have to be someone very trustworthy. You see my daughter is very honest and she thinks that almost everybody is as honest as she is...

Dear daughter, I wish all the best to you and hope that you will meet someone as pure of heart like you. Someone reliable, loving, understanding and pious like you..InsyaAllah...

Butter Cake Recipe

Hi and Salams to all. Its been quite sometime since my last post. Have been quite busy lately. But today I felt like eating a nice homebaked cake. So this will be my 1st recipe entry. Do try it.. It's nice and yummy.. Very simple too..

Simple Butter Cake

8oz butter

8 oz or less castor sugar

8 eggs

8oz self raising flour

4-5 tablespoon eveporated milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

"Cream butter and sugar till light and fluffy. add in eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. fold in flour bit by bit alternately with the milk. add in vanilla. pour batter into a buttered and floured cake tin. bake at about 180 degrees for about 30-40 mins."

Simple right?? Try it. Its delicious too. Ok gotta go now. Am going to watch tv and eat my nice cake. Till my next post.. Have a good day

I'm a Nurse!

Salams... Its been quite a while since my last post. What with my daughter in law being sick and I was in temerloh for a week taking care of her.. and I, myself not feeling at my best... you know how it is. 


I was in Triang, Temerloh for a whole week, and it was really really hot over there. No rain whatsoever, not even a breeze. But now I'm back home.. still not feeling well but at least it is cooler here. Triang is a small town. Most of the shops closed their business by 7 pm. 


So if you were to go to town at 9 pm, you will see a very quiet and dark town. Too quiet for my liking..Oh well it doesn't matter anyway, since my son and daughter in law makes a living over there, quiet or what I will still go there. Ok, I will add more news later on.. 

Am off to bed now after taking my flu and cough medicine.. am feeling drowsy now..take care..
